Abstract

A treatise on the birth of the Prophet Muḥammad (Mawlid al-Nabī) by ʻAlī ibn Maḥmūd al-Asmantī al-Khalwatī, an obscure author of the Khalwatīyah Ṣufī order. Copied by Maḥmūd Ḥamad Allāh al-Jālisī al-Barkāwī on Sunday, 5 [Dhū] al-Qaʻdah 1310 H (21 May, 1893) probably in Egypt.
